Sending a Proof with Simple Proofing

Simple proofing mode is best used if you want just one proofing tool and simplified buttons to make it easier for your collaborators to submit their feedback. This feature is only available to the Admins and the Proof Senders.

Before proceeding, please make sure you are familiar with the following: Sending a Proof, Accessing the GoProof extension and Edit, Duplicate or Delete a Project.‍

Below are the  places where you can enable this feature.

1. Creating a new Project.
2. Editing an existing Project.
3. Sending a Proof on the web.
4. Updating the details on existing Proofs.
5. Sending a Proof via the GoProof extension.

Creating a new Project

1. When creating a new Project, select the Enable Simple Proof by default checkbox.
2. Send a proof and the Simple proofing option will be enabled automatically.

Pro tip: Any proofs you sent to your collaborators will have this featured enabled. Note that you can disable it on a proof by proof basis.

Editing an existing Project

1. Select the project you wish to update and you will find the More options icon (three vertical dots) beside it.
2. Click on the More options icon and select Edit.
3. Select the Enable Simple Proof by default checkbox.
4. Send a proof and the Simple proofing option will be enabled automatically.

Sending a Proof on the web

1. Create a New Proof.
2. Select the Simple Proofing checkbox option in the Upload content step and proceed as normal to send the Proof.

Updating the details on existing Proofs

1. Open an existing Job with a Proof.
2. Click on the Details button in the Job window.
3. Select the Enable simple proofing mode for collaborators checkbox.
4. Open/View the Proof. The proofing comment tool should now be updated.

Sending a Proof via the GoProof extension

1. Create a document in the Adobe app (i.e InDesign, Photoshop, etc).
2. Click on the Send Proof button at the bottom of the GoProof extension.
3. Select the Simple Proofing checkbox in the Send Proof Wizard and send the proof as normal.
