We provide multiple secure ways to log in to your GoProof account, so you can choose the method that works best for you. You can use a Single Sign On account, a passkey, or an authenticator app. You can even enable more than one option for extra convenience and security. These options are available both in your user account preferences and directly from the login pop-up window, so you can set them up or use them quickly whenever you sign in. This gives you flexibility, faster access, and added protection for your account and personal information.
Single Sign On (SSO)
Single Sign On lets you log in using an existing account you already trust, like Google, Microsoft or Slack. It’s like using one key to unlock multiple doors. It is simple and convenient.
Why use it?
Sign in without entering a password.
Fast and convenient login.
Security is managed by your organisation or provider.
Tip! Your account is usually created in the system using your email address. To use SSO, make sure the email address on your Google, Microsoft or Slack account matches the email address we have on your GoProof account. If the email addresses match, the account will be linked automatically, even if you haven’t set a password yet.
How it works?
Select Sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Slack on the login screen.
Login in to that account.
If the email matches your account in our system, it will automatically link your accounts and log you in to GoProof.
Passkey Login
A Passkey is a modern, password-free way to sign in to your GoProof account.

How to set it up?
Login to your GoProof account.
Click on your Profile name (top-right corner) and select the Security option.
Click on the Register Passkey button.
Select where you want the passkey to be stored on your device.
Complete the set-up.
How it works?
Select Sign in with Passkey on the login screen.
Select the device or location where your passkey is stored.
Log in securely.
Email and Password with Authenticator App
An Authenticator app adds an extra layer of security to your email and password login by generating a temporary code. Even if someone knows your password, they can’t access your account without this code. You can protect your login details with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, LastPass or 2FAS, among others.

How to set it up?
Login to your GoProof account.
Click on your Profile name (top-right corner) and select the Security option.
Click on the Setup Two-Factor Authentication button.
Scan the QR code provided using your preferred Authenticator app or follow the alternative step.
Enter the code in the field provided.
Click on the Enable 2FA button to complete the set-up.
How it works?
Enter your email and password on the login screen.
Enter the one time code generated by your authenticatorapp on the screen provided.
Click on the Proceed button to confirm log in to your account.
